It’s aways scary when we hear about a trucking accident that happens right in here in Kansas City. There are so many things that can happen on a highway that can lead to a trucking accident. These vehicles are so big that they rarely crash without involving or affecting other vehicles in some way. This morning in the Northland was no different.
A big rig truck lost control in the southbound lanes of I-435 and tipped over. The truck driver was seriously injured and needed to be physically cut free from the cab of the truck. He was promptly taken to a nearby hospital. Thankfully his injuries are considered to be non-life threatening. While this accident did not involve any other vehicles, it did shut down the highway for over an hour, creating quite a headache for commuters trying to get deeper into the Kansas City Metro.
